About EGYFMA’s Executive Committee
This committee serves as a bridge between the Board of Directors and the specialized committees, ensuring that all initiatives align with the overall strategy and objectives of EGYFMA.
The Executive Committee of the Egyptian Facility Management Association (EGYFMA) plays a pivotal role in overseeing the activities and initiatives of the association’s future specialized committees. Committed to advancing the field of facility management in Egypt, this committee ensures the effective management, coordination, and implementation of programs and standards that align with EGYFMA’s mission.
Overview Description
The Executive Committee is responsible for leading EGYFMA’s future specialized committees planned to be announced soon, which include but are not limited to:
- Standardization Committee: Focused on developing and implementing industry standards and best practices.
- Facility Services Providers Classification Committee: Responsible for classifying and assessing facility service providers to ensure quality and reliability.
- Periodic & Publications Committee: Manages the production and dissemination of publications, reports, and periodic communications related to the facility management sector.
Structure and Roles
The structure of the Executive Committee consists of a Chief, a Vice Chief, and committee members, each with defined responsibilities:
- Chief (Requires +20 Years of FM Experience):
- Leads the Executive Committee and oversees the overall operations of EGYFMA.
- Represents the association in external communications and engagements.
- Facilitates collaboration among the specialized committees and the Board of Directors.
- Ensures the alignment of the committee’s activities with EGYFMA’s strategic goals.
- Vice Chief (Requires 15 to 20 Years of FM Experience):
- Assists the Chief in managing the committee’s functions and initiatives.
- Acts as a liaison between the Chief and the committee members.
- Assumes the responsibilities of the Chief in their absence.
- Supports the coordination of specialized committee activities and reporting.
- Committee Members (Requires +10 Years of FM Experience):
- Participate actively in discussions and decision-making processes.
- Take responsibility for specific tasks or projects assigned by the Chief or Vice Chief.
- Collaborate with specialized committees to ensure their objectives are met and report back on progress.
- Engage with members of EGYFMA and stakeholders to gather feedback and insights on facility management practices.
